About us
Our band was founded in 2010 by young musicians from Báta. Bence and Barnabás are the two remaining founding members. The current line-up has been playing together since 2018.
Most of us come from Báta, a village in the Sárköz region known for keeping its folk traditions alive. Preserving the village’s musical heritage, especially its tambura traditions, is close to our hearts.
Our repertoire centres on folk music from the outer and inner Sárköz regions. We also enjoy playing melodies from Kalocsa, Szatmár, Őrkő, the Galga valley and beyond.

Csoóri Sándor Programme
In 2020, Hungary’s Ministry of Human Capacities supported our band through the Csoóri Sándor Programme. The funding helped us with:

- CD cover design
- purchasing equipment (microphones)
- working with a professional mentor
